About The Role We are currently seeking a skilled Front-End (UI/UX) Developer to join our team remotely, supporting a significant federal government healthcare modernization project. This role focuses on developing an AI-powered Patient Health Data Summarization feature within the Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV). The developer will create intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) widget that provides clinicians with AI-generated insights derived from clinical documentation and health records. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, and a passion for designing user-centric healthcare applications. Working within an Agile, multidisciplinary team, the developer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, clinical experts, and technical teams to deliver seamless, production-ready healthcare solutions that integrate smoothly into clinician workflows and support transparency and traceability of AI-generated clinical information. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of professional front-end development experience Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience developing responsive, accessible web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue Strong understanding of WCAG and ARIA accessibility standards Experience creating complex, data-driven user interfaces and visualizations Ability to translate technical and business requirements into user-centered designs Excellent communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams Responsibilities Design and develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces for healthcare applications, including reusable components using modern front-end frameworks Create data-intensive visualizations and workflows that simplify complex clinical information and support clinician decision-making Implement UI components supporting Clinical Decision Support workflows, such as CDS cards, notifications, and patient-context-aware experiences Integrate front-end applications with backend services and clinical data sources, ensuring transparency and traceability of AI-generated summaries Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure high-quality deliverables Participate in code reviews, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and adhere to application quality and usability standards Collaborate within an Agile environment on sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and releases Contribute to technical documentation, design specifications, and user acceptance testing Support additional tasks to meet project objectives and ensure successful delivery Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) plan with Employer Match Paid Time Off and Federal Holidays Provision of a Corporate Laptop Opportunities for Professional Training and Development Remote Work Environment Equal Opportunity VetsEZ is an equal opportunity employer.
