Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Developer (React/Node) for a dynamic healthcare startup supporting a remote workforce on the East Coast. The Full Stack Developer (React/Node) role is a remote position. The Full Stack Developer (React/Node) will design and build scalable web applications, supporting both frontend and backend development in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. An ideal candidate for the Full Stack Developer (React/Node) role is an experienced engineer with a blend of startup agility and enterprise-level development experience.
Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer (React/Node):
Develop and maintain full stack applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in a healthcare-focused environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with business and user needs.
Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack in a timely manner.
Qualifications of the Full Stack Developer (React/Node):
5+ years of full stack development experience with strong proficiency in React and Node.js.
Experience working in both startup/small company environments and enterprise organizations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern development best practices.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable system design.
Compensation for the Full Stack Developer (React/Node) includes:
Salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 depending on experience
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
